WEEKLY: China's SiMn prices remain firm, output down

China's silicomanganese (SiMn) prices continued to strengthen over March 2-6, mainly driven by the better performance of SiMn futures and firm cost support from the rising prices of manganese ore, while the overall production of this ferroalloy declined due to the maintenance of some smelters' furnaces, Mysteel Global learned.
