The situation in the Middle East has pushed up international oil prices, driving palm oil futures higher again. Recently, DCE palm oil has been suppressed by weakening fundamentals and experienced a slight pullback, but the downside support remains strong, and the market stays resilient. In the domestic spot market, basis prices are generally weak. Attention should be paid to Malaysia's palm oil export and production data at the end of April. In the short term, palm oil prices are expected to trade in a range. Even strong crude oil prices have provided limited support. At present, factors such as geopolitics, the B50 mandate, and weather appear to be fully priced in, and the market may refocus on near-term pressure in the physical market.
