Overnight CBOT soybean futures closed higher at 1197.75 cents/bushel, mainly driven by strength in international crude oil and soybean oil. In the U.S. soybean production regions, recent rainfall in the south-central areas may temporarily slow the planting pace, but overall planting remains historically fast. In South America, Brazil's soybean harvest has reached 92.1%, with Mato Grosso and So Paulo states having completed harvest entirely. Brazil's April soybean exports are expected to reach 16.4 million tonnes, a sharp increase of 21.5% year-on-year, as the supply peak continues to materialize. In Argentina, due to rainfall impacts, the harvest progress is only 10.2%, lagging behind normal levels, but this has limited impact on the global supply pattern.
