WEEKLY: China's SiMn prices weaken, output rises

China's silicomanganese (SiMn) prices weakened during the week of April 27-30, with the national price of 6517 SiMn under Mysteel's assessment standing at Yuan 5,951/tonne ($873/t) including the 13% VAT on April 30, falling by Yuan 70/t from April 24. April 30 was the last working day before China's May Day holiday over May 1-5.

SiMn prices in the derivative market also lost ground.
