WEEKLY: China mills' import iron ore stocks plunge after holiday depletion

Imported Iron Ore Inventory
Chinese mills saw their stocks of imported iron ore fines fall sharply after the continuous consumption during the just-past May Day holiday, according to Mysteel's latest survey results.
By May 6, the inventories of imported iron ore sintering fines held by the 64 Chinese steelmakers regularly sampled by Mysteel declined by a marked 1.4 million tonnes or 9.8% on week to 12.7 million tonnes, the lowest level seen so far this year, the findings showed.   During the five-day
