DAILY: China's spot alumina prices stabilize, futures edge higher

Chinese alumina prices for spot sales largely stabilized on May 27, while those for futures contracts edged higher the same day.

Mysteel assessed the national average price for metallurgical-grade alumina with a minimum purity of 98.6% at Yuan 2,700/tonne ($398/t) on Wednesday, unchanged for the fourth straight working day.
