DAILY: China's imported iron ore prices fall again

After the short-lived one-day rise last Friday, China’s imported iron ore prices dipped again for both portside stocks and seaborne cargoes on June 1, while trading diverged in the two markets.

On Monday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao was assessed lower by a tiny Yuan 1/wmt ($0.14/wmt) on day at Yuan 761/wmt FOT including the 13% VAT, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also edged down by $0.7/dmt on day to $106.15/dmt CFR Qingdao.
