DAILY: China import iron ore prices retreat again, trade falls

Imported Iron Ore Price Trading
Chinese prices for imported iron ore softened for both port stocks and seaborne cargoes on June 3, while trading activity declined in both markets.
On Wednesday, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines in Qingdao was assessed at Yuan 760/wmt ($112.39/wmt) FOT and including the 13% VAT, lower by Yuan 4/wmt from Tuesday. The same day, Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also slipped $1.45/dmt from the previous day to $105.35/dmt CFR Qingdao.   Iron ore derivatives weakened
