WEEKLY: Chinese EAF mills continue to ramp up production

Production among Chinese electric-arc-furnace (EAF) steelmakers rose further over the past week, as EAF mills were still able to generate profits by operating during off-peak hours, despite a few additional mills suspending production for maintenance, Mysteel's latest survey showed.
