DAILY: Chinese alumina prices strengthen in spot, futures markets

China's spot alumina prices largely edged up on June 11, breaking a period of stability that had persisted since June 1, while alumina futures continued to rally.

Mysteel assessed the national average price for metallurgical-grade alumina with a minimum purity of 98.6% at Yuan 2,717/tonne ($401.6/t) on Thursday, up Yuan 10/t from the previous day.
