WEEKLY: Aust., Brazilian iron ore shipments fall 3% WoW

The total volume of iron ore dispatched to global destinations from 20 ports and 17 mining companies in Australia and Brazil under Mysteel's tracking fell for a second straight week to 27.3 million tonnes during June 15-21, down 727,000 tonnes or 2.6% on week.

The decline was mainly driven by Brazil, where shipments from nine ports fell sharply by 920,000 tonnes or 10.7% on week to 7.7 million tonnes during the latest survey period. Notably, volumes shipped by Vale dropped by 1.6 million tonnes or 22.4% on week to 5.4 million tonnes. In the
