The lithium ore prices rebounded along with rising lithium carbonate, and the price hike encouraged the lithium refineries to actively close the back-pricing orders. The lithium ore supply remained tight. Elsewhere, though Zimbabwe has resumed lithium concentrate exports, the shipment will likely take around two months. With SinoMine announcing overhaul due to supply shortage, Zimbabwe's export ban earlier has started to actually impact domestic production.
For lithium carbonate, the futures price rebounded partly becuase the shorts left the market. On the demand end, Mysteel's latest survey of LFP production scheduling showed that, China's LFP cathode production is projected to rise 4.68% MoM in July, following a monthly increase of 2.87% in June, suggesting resilient demand.
