DAILY: China's coking coal extends corrections on weak sentiment

China's coking coal prices continued to correct marginally on July 9, with buying interest across downstream sectors remaining weak amid deteriorating sentiment in the steelmaking industry.

On Thursday, Mysteel Coking Coal Index (MCCI), which tracks coking coal prices nationwide in China, reached Yuan 1,697.7/tonne ($250.4/t) including the 13% VAT, down another Yuan 1.2/t from the previous session.
