National soybean oil transaction volume stood at 16,500 tonnes yesterday, down 10,800 tonnes from the previous day, as downstream buying interest waned and trading returned to subdued levels. Soybean crush margins were at Yuan -10/tonne, improving by Yuan 49/tonne from the prior session, with losses narrowing but still hovering near breakeven. Currently, imported soybean arrivals remain high, and crushers continue to operate at elevated utilization rates. Soybean oil inventories have accumulated for twelve consecutive weeks, reaching a more than seven-month high.
