WEEKLY: Declines in China's import iron ore prices continue

Chinese prices for imported iron ore fell further during July 27-31, as underlying fundamentals remained weak while bearish sentiment prevailed, according to Mysteel's latest weekly report.

On July 31, Mysteel PORTDEX 62% Australian Fines was assessed at Yuan 683/wmt ($101.1/wmt) FOT and including the 13% VAT, down Yuan 20/wmt from a week prior, while Mysteel SEADEX 62% Australian Fines also decreased $2.35/dmt on week to $96.55/dmt CFR Qingdao.
