POSCO links Malaysian CR stainless to China, Indonesia in anti-circumvention bid

Korean integrated steel giant POSCO is preparing an anti-circumvention complaint with the Korea Trade Commission (KTC) targeting cold-rolled stainless steel imports from Malaysia, according to industry sources.

The steelmaker is examining whether Malaysian imports using raw materials sourced from countries already subject to South Korean anti-dumping duties – including the Chinese mainland, Indonesia and Taiwan – should be covered under the country's expanded anti-circumvention framework.
