The total volume of ferrous scrap recycled from end-of-life (ELV) vehicles in China is expected to continue shrinking this month amid weaker operating activity among domestic scrap processing companies, Mysteel's latest survey results suggest.
China's ELV recycling decreased in July, with a total of 27,561 units of ELVs being scrapped and shredded by the 85 automotive dismantling companies under Mysteel's tracking. This was down 2% from June and lower by 17.6% compared with the same month last year.   By the end of last month,
