The GFEX lithium carbonate futures price recorded another winning day, with the expectations of traditional seasonal high gradually paying off based on the battery cell production scheduling for August and September. And the persistent lithium carbonate inventory drawdown reinforced the bullish expectations.
Yet, some players believed that the recent increases were a phased rebound rather than a trend reversal, with expectations for supply outperforming the demand growth still prevailing on the market. Therefore, it is likely that the lithium carbonate prices will keep rangebound in the near term.
