DAILY: Tight supply keeps China's coking coal market buoyant

China's coking coal market remained on a strong footing on August 31, with tight domestic supplies continuing to underpin the ongoing bullish price trend.

On Monday, Mysteel Coking Coal Index (MCCI), which tracks coking coal prices nationwide in China, stood at Yuan 2,162.9/tonne ($321.8/t) including the 13% VAT, up Yuan 42.5/t from the previous session.
