WEEKLY: China miners' iron ore output slips, stocks build

After rising for two consecutive weeks, production of iron ore concentrates at Chinese mining companies edged down during September 4-10, while mine-side stocks continued to build, Mysteel's survey showed.

During the survey period over September 4-10, the total daily production of iron ore concentrates among the 186 mining and concentrating enterprises tracked by Mysteel averaged 442,500 tonnes/day, down by 3,500 t/d, or 0.8%, from the previous week. The average operational rate among the 186 companies also declined by 0.4
