DAILY: Seaborne iron ore prices increase significantly despite limited trading activities

The seaborne iron ore index increased on Friday, September 18. The Mysteel SEADEX 61% Fines increased $0.95/dmt to $96.15/dmt, while the corresponding 62% Low Alumina Fines index up $0.30/dmt to $100.70/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR Qingdao.
