DAILY: Seaborne iron ore index holds steady, but liquidity is poor

The seaborne iron ore index remained stable but market liquidity was poor on the Sunday, September 20, 2026, one marking-up working day in China mainland. The Mysteel SEADEX 61% Fines was flat at $96.15/dmt, while the corresponding 62% Low Alumina Fines index also remained stable at $100.7/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR Qingdao.
