Seaborne iron ore index weakened as liquidity was the relatively limited especially in the secondary market with the approach of China's National Day holiday on Monday, September 28th, 2026. The Mysteel SEADEX 61% Fines decreased $0.80/dmt to $93.65/dmt, while the corresponding 62% Low Alumina Fines index decreased $0.70/dmt to $98.00/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR Qingdao.
