Seaborne iron ore prices fluctuated narrowly on Monday, September 21. The Mysteel SEADEX 61% Fines Index increased 0.26% or $0.25/dmt to $96.40/dmt, while the 62% Low Alumina Fines Index up 0.30% or $0.30/dmt to $101.00/dmt. Both indices are based on CFR Qingdao.

Primary market liquidity weakened, with only two parcels of cargo traded on public platforms. One parcel of MACF with a laycan of October 21–30 was traded at a fixed price of $95.80/dmt on a 60.5% Fe basis, equivalent to a discount of $0.80/dmt against the November index. Its floating
