WEEKLY: Aust., Brazilian iron ore shipments fall 4% WoW

After rising for two consecutive weeks, total iron ore shipments to global destinations from 20 ports and 17 mining companies in Australia and Brazil declined during September 21-27 to 26.7 million tonnes, down 1.2 million tonnes or 4.3% on week, Mysteel's tracking showed.

The decline was mainly driven by lower Australian shipments, which more than offset the increase in Brazilian deliveries, Mysteel Global noted.
