WEEKLY: China's domestic iron ore concs prices retreat after holiday

Prices for domestically produced iron ore concentrates in China tracked lower across most production bases last week, as steel demand remained subdued after the National Day holiday ended on October 7.

On October 10, Mysteel assessed the offering price for 66% Fe grade iron ore concentrates in Tangshan in North China's Hebei province – China's largest steelmaking hub – at Yuan 700/wmt ($104.5/wmt) excluding the 13% VAT, lower by 4.5% from September 30.
