Indonesia raises all thermal coal HBA prices again for H2 October

Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has raised its Harga Batubara Acuan (HBA) thermal coal reference prices for all grades for the second half of October compared with two weeks earlier, according to the ministry's release published on October 15.

The ESDM fixed the HBA for 6,322 kcal/kg GAR coal, the benchmark high-CV grade, at $126.81/tonne for H2 October, up $4.29/t or 3.5% from $122.52/t in H1 October. The rise erases the 2.6% slip recorded in the H2 September release and leaves the grade 2.6% above the $123.54/t set
