DAILY: China's rebar prices level out, trading recovers further

China's domestic spot rebar prices levelled out on October 16, edging up after three consecutive working days of declines.

The national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar assessed by Mysteel stood at Yuan 3,319/tonne ($496/t), including the 13% VAT, last Friday, ticking up by Yuan 1/t on day. In the derivatives market, the most-traded rebar futures contract on the Shanghai Futures Exchange for next January delivery also closed the daytime
