USDA data showed that as of October 11, the U.S. soybean harvest rate stood at 46%, faster than the market expectation of 44%, with new-crop soybeans arriving in concentrated volumes. At the same time, expectations of a bumper South American crop continued to build: Brazil's planting progress reached 15.6%, above 11.1% in the same period last year and the five-year average of 15.2%, and scheduled soybean exports for the week exceeded 1.7 million tonnes, indicating a clear acceleration in export pace. Meanwhile, China has been largely absent from U.S. soybean purchases since the National Day holiday, leaving a lack of buying support.
