According to Mysteel's survey, the lithium carbonate spot prices hit new lows, and amid the decline, cathode plants' purchasing willingness has become more cautious, with spot trading lackluster.
In addition, China's October 2026 LFP cathode production was 607,800 tonnes, up 0.76% MoM. Most producers maintained stable operations, though some fell short of expected output due to feedstock supply or production line issues. November 2026 LFP production is estimated at 600,800 tonnes, down 1.15% MoM. Some producers are trimming volumes modestly on order structure adjustments, while others continue to ramp up new capacity, leaving overall industry schedules slightly lower. Order confirmation is relatively high in the first half of November; attention should be paid to whether order adjustments emerge in the second half.
