WEEKLY: China miners' iron ore output continues to fall, stocks build

Production of iron ore concentrates among Chinese mining companies continued to decline during the past week, while mine-side inventories increased, the results of Mysteel's latest survey showed.

Over October 23-29, the total daily production of iron ore concentrates among the 186 mining and concentrating enterprises tracked by Mysteel averaged 438,900 tonnes/day, down by 800 t/d, or 0.18%, from the previous week. The average operational rate among the 186 companies also declined by 0.1 percentage point on week
