A sharper pullback in buying weighed on China's coking coal market on November 4, leaving more online auction cargoes unsold and prompting further concessions in spot prices.

On Wednesday, the Mysteel Coking Coal Index (MCCI), which tracks coking coal prices nationwide in China, stood at Yuan 1,984.6/tonne ($297.5/t) including the 13% VAT, down Yuan 4.5/t from the previous working day.
