China’s Jan-Aug iron ore imports growth slower at 11%

China’s iron ore imports continued to grow but at a slower pace of 11% on year over January-August to 759.9 million tonnes, as against the 11.8% on-year rise in the first seven months, as the August import volume ebbed from July’s all-time high, Mysteel Global noted from the latest statistics released by the country's General Administration of Customs on September 7.
