WEEKLY: China's steel exports thin, shippers marking time

Chinese steel export activity remains generally dull, but opportunities gradually emerged last week with the lowering of offer prices among Chinese exporters against the pickup in overseas prices, market sources noted.
After the recent fall in Chinese steel export prices, cold-rolled coil (CRC) prices are now slightly lower than those of overseas rivals, a steel exporter based in East China's Zhejiang province noted.
