NBS: China's output of air-conditioners declines 10% YoY in July

China's production of the four major home appliances – air-conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines and televisions – was mixed during July, with that of air-conditioners posting the largest fall of 10.1% on year last month to 18.03 million units, according to new data released by the country's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

Production of televisions also slid by 6.6% on year to 14.24 million units in July, the NBS data showed. In contrast, output of refrigerators and washing machines increased by 10.6% and 4.9% respectively on year to 9.78 million units and 9 million units last month. For January-July, air-conditioners remained the most produced products among the
