China spot LNG delivery price averaged Yuan 4,491/tonne as of May 9, up Yuan 10/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem.
Imported LNG ex-terminal prices stood at Yuan 4,238/t today, down Yuan 5/tonne from the previous trading day, according to OilChem. The prices dropped primarily due to flat downstream demand, though the international spot cost rose.
LNG sales volume by truck at coastal terminals was 56,658 tonnes on May 8, up 6.30% from the last trading day. In detail, the sales volume was 21,441 tonnes in East China, up 4.08%, 18,186 tonnes in South China, up 4.59%, and 15,204 tonnes in North China, up 11.56%, according to OilChem data.
Domestic LNG prices are projected to stay resilient on high cost and relatively smooth shipment.
