Subsidy policies for auto and appliances to boost China's modified plastics market

Against a new round of trade-in subsidy policies, China's modified plastics industry will be boosted by the expansion in the new energy vehicle demand and the deepening application of lightweight materials, as well as the home appliance sector, in which consumers are increasingly prioritizing "green" and "smart" features.

Starting from January 1, 2026, the Chinese government formally implements a new round of consumer goods trade-in subsidy policies, emphasizing optimizing subsidy mechanisms in key sectors such as automobiles and home appliances while strengthening the orientation toward green consumption and ensuring fairness. This new round of trade-in subsidy policies
