Tangshan billet prices soften on faltering demand

The price of billet in North China’s Tangshan city, the bellwether of the country’s steel market, is being undermined by weak demand from re-rollers and end-users, market watchers said Thursday. Mysteel’s average price for Tangshan Q235 billet had dropped by a total Yuan 80/tonne ($11.8/t) on week to Yuan
