Poor sentiment sends China Tungsten price to 16-month low

Chinese prices of tungsten products remain under pressure, with that for 80% W ferrotungsten declining to a 16-month low of Yuan 159,000/tonne ($23,413/t) including the 16% VAT as of January 9, down another 2.5% or Yuan 4,000/t from one month earlier and making for a 10.7% decline on year, according to Mysteel’s database.
