NBS: China Jan-Feb coal output up 10%, coke down 8%

Over January-February, China's total output for raw coal for all uses increased by 10.3% on year to 686.6 million tonnes, while the country's coke output decreased by 7.6% on year to 74.4 million tonnes, according to the latest release by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on March 15.

On a per-day basis, the data show that China's daily raw coal production over January-February rose 10.5% on year to 11.4 million tonnes/day, though it was still 6.5% below last December's average, according to NBS data.
