South Korea's SeAH CSS advances Saudi pipe joint venture

South Korean specialty steel long products conglomerate SeAH Group is deepening its ties with Saudi Arabia, with Monday's announcement that subsidiary company SeAH Changwon Integrated Special Steel Corp (SeAH CSS) expects to break ground on its new joint-venture seamless pipe mill in the country during the fourth quarter this year.

The plant will be built in King Salman Energy Park, a new city being developed as an international hub for the energy industry in the eastern part of Saudi Arabia, and will host a capacity of 17,000 tonnes/year of seamless stainless pipes and tubes. Commercial production is scheduled to
