Japan's scrap export tender price for Oct down by $6/t

Carbon Steel Scrap Global Import/Export Supply
The winning bid in Japan's latest monthly tender for H2 grade scrap for exports held on Wednesday was Yen 920/tonne ($6.3/t) lower than last month's top bid to Yen 50,120/t FAS, according to the tender organizer, the Kanto Tetsugen, the alliance of scrap dealers around Tokyo.
The runner-up was at Yen 49,610/t FAS, and both winners won for 5,000 tonnes each. They reported to the alliance that parcels are planned to be shipped to South Korea, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Indonesia or Thailand.   Today's tender attracted 17 bids for a total of 101,300 tonnes from both Kanto
