INFOGRAPH: Better sentiment drives rise in rebar prices

Chinese prices for rebars in both the physical and futures markets have steadily strengthened, as expectations for a further recovery in demand have given a lift to domestic market sentiment, Mysteel Global learned.

As of February 22, China's national price of HRB400E 20mm dia rebar had increased for six consecutive working days to reach Yuan 4,341/tonne ($630/t) including the 13% VAT, the highest since July 4 2022 and making for a total rise of Yuan 105/t over the six days. Derivatives prices
