Supply and Demand:
Downstream ternary precursor manufactures purchased on rigid demand.
The prices of nickel sulphate were high amid the booming demand driven by capacity release of electrowinning nickel.
The costs of nickel sulphate could hardly be reduced due to declining supply of MHP.
In the short term, the prices of nickel sulfate are difficult to fall; but in the long run, it will decline due to the continuous increase in the supply of nickel intermediates and nickel sulfate in Indonesia.
