Taiwan Feng Hsin rolls over rebar, scrap prices

Feng Hsin Steel, Taiwan's largest rebar producer headquartered in Taichung in central Taiwan, has decided to roll over its rebar list prices and buying prices for local scrap during the week of July 10-14 after the mill had hiked both prices over the previous week, a company official confirmed on Monday.

For business negotiations till this Friday, the mini-mill continues to offer its 13mm dia rebar at TWD 19,500/tonne ($621/t), while its procurement price for local HMS 1&2 80:20 scrap also stays unchanged on week at TWD 10,900/t, according to the official.
