BHP's H1 FY24 met coal output falls 17% YoY, guidance lowered

BHP, the Australian minerals and energy giant, produced about 11.32 million tonnes of metallurgical coal on actual share in its operations in Queensland, Northeast Australia in the first half of its financial year 2024 (FY24) that began in July 2023, with the volume down by 17% on year, according to the company's latest operational review posted on January 18.
