An 80,000-tonne lithium-ion battery recycling project (Phase I) invested by Wuzhou Tongchuang Company passed the environmental impact assessment (EIA) on February 27, 2024, with a planned construction period of 24 months in Wuzhou City, Guangxi Province. Once completed, the project is able to create 30,000 tonnes anode materials from recycled batteries per year.
