On July 8th local time, the groundbreaking ceremony was held at the battery super factory of AESC located in Navarre Moradramata, Spain. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Chairman Zhang Lei of AESC, and CEO Nord of AESC USA and Europe attended the ceremony.
AESC's Spanish factory will develop and manufacture the latest generation of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery products, which are expected to be put into operation in 2026, becoming Europe's first LFP battery super factory. The factory will also rely on the construction of the first zero carbon industrial park in Europe to create zero carbon battery products.
