On August 13th, China Baoan Group announced that its subsidiary BTR plans to sign a supply agreement prepayment agreement with Ford Motor and its related companies. BTR will supply artificial graphite materials to Ford Motor according to the terms of the agreement, and Ford Motor will prepay a total of $120 million to BTR. On the same day, BTR plans to invest in an integrated project with an annual output of 60,000 tonnes of lithium-ion battery anode materials in Morocco in order to implement its overseas strategic layout for lithium-ion battery anode materials. The total estimated investment for the project will not exceed Yuan 2.618 billion.
