China's coal imports via major Sino-Mongolian ports soar

China's coal imports through three major inland ports on Sino-Mongolia border Ganqimaodu, Ceke and Mandula have all registered gains this year, Mysteel Global learns.

As of August 31, total coal deliveries from Mongolia to North China's Ganqimaodu border crossing since January this year had amounted to 27.4 million tonnes, jumping by a large 17.9% from the year-ago level, according to a recent post published by the port authority on its Wechat account. Ganqimaodu, located
